TanTarA Estates Frequently Asked Questions

1. What time can I check in?

Our check-in time is anytime after 2:00pm. If you are going to be later than 5:00pm please call our office to arrange for a late check-in. Check out is by 11:00am

2. Do you allow pets?

We have a limited number of rooms, suites, and homes that do allow pets. We have a pet deposit of $100. and a limit of 50lbs. for dogs.

3. We would like to bring our boat. Do you have boat slips available?

Yes, we have several units with boat slips available. Please contact our office to make a reservation if you require a boat slip.

4. What is your relationship to TanTarA Resort?

We are not affiliated in any way with TanTarA Resort. We are a private property management company who specializes in vacation rental in TanTarA Estates. All of the homes in the estates are privately owned and homeowners wishing to participate in a rental program may choose any company they wish to manage their property.

5. We have found the home we would like to rent for our family vacation. How do we go about making a reservation?

Making a reservation is easy. You can also call our office (573)348-2123 and speak to one of our reservationists or email us at ttaestates@yahoo.com . Our staff is very familiar with all of our rental units and can answer any question you may have. We require one nights lodging and the $10 booking fee at time of reservation as deposit.

6. What are the taxes if we rent a room from you?

Our sales tax is 5.475%.

7. Are there any other fees?

Yes, we have a non-refundable $10 booking fee for all reservations. For Suites we also have an additional $20 fee if you are staying only one night. $10 additional one night fee for a Room. There is a 2 night minimum in-season.

8. What is your cancellation policy?

Our Cancellation Policy is 30 days prior to arrival for ALL Reservations staying in June, July, or August. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival you will be responsible for the entire rental amount including booking fee and tax. If you cancel prior to the 30 days you will receive a full refund minus the $10 booking fee. We have a 7 day cancellation policy for the remaining 9 months of the year. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival you will be responsible for the entire amount of the reservation. There are no exceptions. If you cancel prior to the 7 days you will receive a full refund of your deposit excluding the $10 booking fee.

9. Are there any age requirements to rent a home from you?

Yes, we require you be at least 25 yrs old and have a valid credit card to stay with us as guests. Children are welcome with families.

10. Where are you located?

Our office is located at 1684 Hwy KK, Osage Beach, Missouri. Go to Yahoo Maps for directions for driving directions from your location. You can also go to our Directions Page for directions

11. Do you have Hot Tubs or Jacuzzi’s?

Yes, we have many Luxury Suites with Private Hot Tubs on the Master Bedroom Deck and also Mini Suites with 3 person Jacuzzi Tubs in the room.

12. Do you have High Speed Internet?

YES! We have FREE High Speed Internet in all of our rental units.

13. Can I purchase a home in TanTarA Estates?

Yes! We normally have 12 to 15 homes listed for sale and we are available 7 days a week to show you what TanTarA Estates has to offer. go to our Real Estate Site to view current listings. Real Estate is shown by Appointment Only. Please email or call to set up a time to view our homes for sale.

14. Are there any swimming pools in the Estates we can use?

Yes, we have 2 swimming pools in TanTarA Estates for guests use. Pictures of both pools can be viewed Here.

15. What can we do at TanTarA Resort?

We are not connected or affiliated with TanTarA Resort. TanTarA Resort is open to the public and anything available for public use is available to you as our guests. TanTarA Resort pools, fitness center, marina, and shuttle service are not available to our guests at this time.

16. What activities are there to do at the Lake of the Ozarks?

17. What do I need to bring?

Nothing! Our kitchens are fully equipped. We supply linens, paper products, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and coffee. Bring your clothes and groceries.

18. Can we rent a unit for one night?

We do not do one night rentals in-season but with an additional fee we will take a one night rental in the off season. One night additional fee for a Suite is $20 and $10 for a Room or Mini Suite.
